Ben Murray-bruce To Run For Governor Of Bayelsa State
Ben Murray-Bruce, Owner of the Silverbird Group yesterday declared his ambition to run for Governor of Bayelsa state in next year's election
The former Director General of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) is said to have already picked up his ‘Expression of Interest and Nomination’ form over the weekend and has announced his intension to run for the election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Submissions of forms close today in preparations for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries scheduled for November 19, 2011 while the governorship election is scheduled to hold on February 11, 2012.
Mr. Bruce, Alaibe, and Honourable Henry Seriake will slug it out with incumbent Governor Timipre Sylva, who may have lost the support of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to return as Governor of the oil-rich Ijaw state.
