‘The Gods Are Still Not To Blame’ Scheduled to Premiere April 19 At Silverbird Cinemas
The premiere of the movie, "The Gods Are Still Not To Blame", has been scheduled for April 19, 2013. The premiere will take place at Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos. The theatrical release of the movie, takes place on the same day. The movie is a contemporary adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy, Oedipus Rex. It is the story of a child, fated to kill his father, and marry his mother.
The movie was directed by Funke Fayoyin, and it stars Carol King, Bayo Alawiye, Seun Akindele, and Gabriel Afolayan. Featured in the movie are Iretiola Doyle, Gloria Anozie-Young, Kareem Adepoju, Akin Lewis, Bukky Ajayi, and Nobert Young... watch the movie trailer below:
