Dakore Egbuson to host AMAA 2013

The pretty lady who took a leave of absence from the screen and entertainment circuit to get married and have a child is back and keeping busy.

Fresh off two movie sets in Nigeria and Cameroon, Dakore Egbuson has been named host of the 2013 Africa Movie Academy Awards billed for Bayelsa. She will be co-hosting the event with AY and Ama K Abebrese.

Immediately after AMAA, Dakore will feature in her debut stage production in May. She will star in The V-Monologues alongside some of the most amazing actresses in Nigeria including Ireti Doyle, Bimbo Akintola, Lala Akindoju and wait for it, Taiwo Ajai Lycett. The V-Monologues will be directed by Ifeoma Fafunwa.

Dakore is back doing what she loves to do - entertainment! And she  looks like she never left the spot-light in the first place. The beautiful actress confessed to have missed being away from all the glitz and glamour, but she is back to nurture herself.

Dakore isn’t new to hosting high-profile events. She has co-hosted the Hip-Hop World Award with Basketmouth and was host at the Calabar Jazz festival, last March. Dakore Egbeson, who hails from Bayelsa State, says hosting this year’s edition of AMAA will be "interesting and a nice homecoming" for her.
