Port Harcourt star Mr 2Kay to hold Xmas Charity Concert.
Fast rising Port Harcourt based act, Mr 2kay is set to hold the 1st annual Christmas concert for charity. The concert will hold on Saturday, December 22 at Okrika Water Front, Port Harcourt town, at 5pm.
The initiative behind this concert is to give back to the community where he hustled from and established his name.
According Mr 2kay in a recent interview, “The water side taught me how to hustle and I learnt a lot even though life there was pretty rough. My going back to the ‘hood will also encourage the people still living there.”
2 Kay continues, “I am grateful to God for the reward of my hard work so I am more than happy to encourage the people to work hard and fight for their dreams.’’
The Water Side Christmas concert will also see Mr 2kay give out school kits to kids and food stuff to the elderly residents of the community. The event is slated for Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 5pm at Okrika Water Front in Port Harcourt town. Entry to the event is free.
Grafton Records also released the diary of Mr 2kay’s London trip and behind the scene videos on Monday, December 17, showing zMr 2kay‘s trip to the United Kingdom in October 2012 for the Nigerian carnival UK.
Mr 2Kay took out time to shoot two videos for his hit singles ‘Bubugaga’ and ‘Beat For My Heart.’
The videos were directed by London based director Nosa Igbenedion. The video for the hit track ‘Beat For My Heart’ will be released January 7, 2013 while ‘Bubugaga’ will be released February 11, 2013.
