Meet NativeBoy the Alter Ego of Tunde [Styl Plus] + Still A Member Of Styl Plus
Remember Olufummi, Runaway and the Like from the Styl Plus Crew, comprising of Shiffy, Tunde and Zeal. Well Tunde a member of Styl Plus we can confirm has re-branded himself and has recorded several solo tracks he now goes by the name NativeBoy, you can also confirmed this from his personal website www.iamnativeboy.com
In 1997 he teamed up with Shifi Emoefe , Yemi Akinwonmi and Lanre Faneyi to form the group STYL which later evolved to the award winning group Styl-Plus with the addition of Zealous Onyecheme when Lanre passed away in 1999 and Yemi left the band. Styl-Plus have performed worldwide including USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Nigeria & more, Tunde Akinsanmi is STILL A MEMBER OF THE GROUP STYL-PLUS TILL DATE, except he announces publicly he has left the group,then i can relate with that, instead of the cheap publicity stunt.
Anyways In 2008 Tunde Akinsanmi founded BAT Records Nigeria LTD which is a parent company to BAT Records Studios and BAT Clothing Company.
BAT which is an acronym derived from BEATZ AND TECHNIQUES has worked with various artistes in music production some of which are Styl-Plus with IMAGINE THAT and JEKASERELO, MENYA NIMYEL with SUGARLAND, X-PROJECT with NEVER GIVE UP and more.
NativeBoy In Your Eyes (I.Y.E) is Tunde's debut single which is rapidly becoming a sensational electronica/pop track worldwide. NativeBoy In Your Eyes is currently ranked #1 on Reverbnation for Electronica/R&B/Pop in Nigeria. I.Y.E is playing on radio in the usa, uk and is popular with his fans on all of the top social networking sites including FaceBook & Twitter.
