Idris Elba Directs & Stars In Mumford & Sons Video For Lover Of The Light
Idris Elba has been on a music video directing thing lately, after having recently directing one for one of his own track, while shooting his Mandela film in South Africa. Mumford & Sons release a new live DVD, The Road To Red Rocks, on 26 November and are also playing live in the UK this month for the Tour of Two Halves, which has completely sold out.
Elba was convinced to take on the part, as well as co-direct the video, after an "ale infused" conversation with the band. The idea for the clip came from Idris, scriptwriter Dan Cadan and Mumford & Sons band, and was developed over a drinking session in a pub.
