B.O.U.Q.U.I Kick Starts Gospel Tour



On 8 February, Gospel music rapper, BOUQUI, kick started her series of gospel concerts in Lagos.  The concert tagged The Love, Hope and War Tour began at the University of Lagos Sports Complex. It featured  American Gospel artiste and  two-time Grammy Awards nominee, DA TRUTH.

United Kingdom’s Jahaziel and Faithchild. also performed at the concert. Representing Africa on the stage are Abel Chungu Musuka from Zambia, Prince CJay from South Africa and Zimbabwe’s gospel singer, Illceey.

The big concert also paraded the very best of Nigeria’s contemporary gospel stars including Panam Percy Paul, Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Jahdiel, Eben, Tim Godfrey and The Xtreme Crew.

Others who rocked the Unilag Sports Complex stage include Nutty Josh, RoofTop MC and The Midnight Crew, while Alien Nation and Xplicit Dancers enlivened the arena with some ground breaking moves and steps.

The Love, Hope and War Tour which was put together  to promote Da T.R.U.T.H’s new album titled: Love, Hope and War worldwide has already begun in many cities across the United States of America and will hit Abuja, Jos and Yenagoa in Nigeria before moving to Zimbabwe and South Africa later in the month.

The Lagos concert also  witnessed the preview of BOUQUI’s forthcoming double album titled Marks Of A General and Eve Of Independence. Put together by BOUQUI’S Place Entertainment in collaboration with XIST MUSIC USA, the concert rides on the platform of BOUQUI’s Redefinition Campus Storm.
