Barcelona defender Gerard Pique involved in car crash
Barcelona and Spainish international Gerard Pique was hit by another vehicle whilst on his way to Camp Nou, but escaped without sustaining any serious injuries and will not miss any action on the pitch.
The centre-back was on his way to Camp Nou on Monday morning, where Pep Guardiola's squad gathered ahead of their trip to Germany to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, when his car was hit by another vehicle.
Although the drivers side door was heavily damaged, Pique was said to be unhurt and travelled with the squad.
The Spainish international parked his Audi Q7 on the side of the road and caught a cab to the Camp Nou, to join his team-mates.
