Lauryn Hill Sentencing Postponed, has two weeks to pay $500000 tax bill

Lauryn Hill just caught a huge break- her sentencing has been postponed. The singer appeared in court today for sentencing after failing to report $1.8 million in income to the federal government, but the judge postponed it saying that Hill has two weeks to pay $504,000 in back taxes.

If she does not pay the back taxes before her next court date on Monday, May 6, Hill faces a potential sentence of at least 24 months and up to 30 months of jail time.

Maybe Lauryn can reach out to the Marley camp for that half a mil!
