The Season 8 of Big Brother Africa titled The Chase kicked off with a live screening at 6pm West Africa Time on AfricaMagic DStv channel 197 and 198. The show as promised kicked off with South Africa’s leading Afro Pop music group, Mafikizolo ‘Khona’ featuring Uhuru.
The Contestants were selected into two separate houses named Diamond and Ruby houses where the 14 contestants will spend the next 91days.
The way the housemates were selected into their respective Diamond and Ruby houses was that a female housemate was called on stage already assigned to a house then allowed to pick a letter or number as the case applied which represented a male housemate that will join the female housemate that selected him, that simple!
