[Nigeria's Got Talent] Asaba Poses a Triple Threat at Regional Auditions

The auditions which held at the five star Hotel Benizia on October 19th 2013, attracted thousands of group and solo participants all showcasing dynamic talents- from the regular singing and rapping –to the unusual, painting, ballet and more.

Despite her size, Serena, a 3-year-old girl held the judges spellbound at the uniqueness and confidence displayed in her performance of Iyanya’s massive hit, Kukere.

Aspiring acts in Asaba, the Delta state capital, eager for a chance to win the mouth watering prize of 10 million naira and place their names on the world's  entertainment map got the opportunity of a lifetime on Saturday as the Nigeria’s Got Talent Train berthed in Asaba for the fifth phase of the nationwide auditions.

Dressed in a bright orange top, denim shorts and silver trainers, the little ‘diva’ came all prepared to move her waist and feet energetically to the beat of the song. Ending her performance with a cat walk, the judges confirmed “We have found something raw in Asaba and we are ready to develop it and take it all the way.

I particularly enjoyed the fact that there was so much creativity displayed in every performance. You could also see that many acts had taken much time and dedication into making each display unique.” says Mrs. Ugochi Pedro, Director of Special Projects and Head of Legal Affairs, Optima Media Group, “that’s a major plus any day!”

The Nigeria’s Got Talent train is gradually coming to an end and will make its next stop in Benin on October 21. The rain will also visit Ibadan on October 23 and Lagos on October 26 and 27.

Nigeria’s Got Talent will run from October 2013 to March 2014
