Author & Motivational Speaker, Zig Ziglar Has Passed Away After Battling With Pneumonia



Author and motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar has died after battling with pneumonia at the age 86. He passed away in a Texas hospital Wednesday morning after battling pneumonia.

The Associated Press confirmed with Ziglar's executive assistant, Laurie Magers, that the influential speaker known for "The Ziglar Way" died at a hospital in Plano, Texas, located in the suburb of Dallas.

A statement on Ziglar's Facebook page says, "Zig Ziglar passed from this world today after a short bout with pneumonia. Though his time on earth has ended, he is speaking with Jesus now in his heavenly home. The angels in heaven are rejoicing and his family is celebrating a life well
lived."

The author was well known for his 1975 book, "SEE YOU AT THE TOP," among numerous others. His most recent publication was 2012's "Born to Win: Find Your Success Code." He reportedly retired from speaking engagements in 2012.
